Facebook Clone - How to Build a Social Network in Under 48h

Many people think that building a less advanced Facebook clone takes a lot of time and money. They are right, but not entirely. It all depends on which path Many people think that building a less advanced Facebook clone takes a lot of time and money. They are right, but not entirely. It really all depends on the path we choose to create our own Facebook. We will present the 3 best possible ways to set up your own social network resembling the most famous network in the world.

A social network from scratch

The first and most expensive option for your own social network: commission or assemble your own team of programmers and specialists and write the whole network from the beginning. It is the most labour-intensive and costly way of getting a network modelled on Facebook. Of course, everything depends on what we want to have at launch and what will be added later. I read somewhere a theory that 100 engineers would not be able to make a 1:1 copy of Facebook in 5 years. We are talking about the basic functions of this giant. An investment made this way can easily start from €4,580 and up.

Commissioning an agency or freelancer, based on a ready-made script

Here we already cut the costs several times over. We have several ready-made solutions to choose from. We buy a ready-made social networking script online, and an agency or freelancer installs it on the server and does, for example, the translation. This way we get a ready-made solution at a much lower price. Below I have prepared ready-made scripts to buy for under $100! Remember that after buying you have to install the script and configure it. Most often you also need to translate it into Polish.   Olympus A WordPress theme with add-ons and BuddyPress. Simple, yet nice-looking and clear. It has all the functionality needed at launch to set up a social network. Show demo   Beehive An interesting, advanced WordPress theme. Thanks to it we can set up an attractive-looking social site in a very short time, which, like every other one listed here, has the basic features that Facebook once introduced on its site, such as photos, an activity wall, friends, etc. Show demo   OneCommunity A very simple but intuitive look. With it too we can quickly set up a Facebook clone in a short time. In the demo you will see several examples of what our site will look like after installation. Show demo   FriendBook friendbook - Facebook clone An interesting proposal in our list. It includes many ready-made styles and a friendly, pleasant look. It even has a built-in messenger function! We will certainly find something among all the demos available on the website of the add-on's author for WP. Show demo   Socialize The most expensive and, in our opinion, also the best-looking option for your newly created social site. A nice emphasis on news, because today the whole internet lives on high-quality content on the page. Here all the elements are already nicely showcased. Show demo

Facebook clone - a social network in 48h

You can choose one of the sites above and commission us to install it and translate it. Depending on the work ordered (whether it is only the installation of the purchased site, or also translation, banner corrections, etc.), the cost will start from €115 and up, the price of course depending on what exactly we agree to do. We are able to complete the basic work within 48h! That means that in just two working days you can enjoy a ready-made social network modelled on Facebook. Of course, everything also depends on our graphic designer's workload, which is lighter in the summer holidays and at the beginning of the year. If not with us, you can of course buy a theme from the list above and look for your own "IT guy" - precisely a front-end developer - to set up the whole site. Remember good hosting too. We currently have a discount for the Cyber Folks data centre. Find out more at this link. Good luck!
